Job Description

As the Editor-in-Chief at OnDot Media, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing the editorial vision for a portfolio of leading B2B publications. Your strategic leadership and industry expertise will drive the creation of high-quality content that engages and influences business and technology audiences globally. Your responsibilities will include: - Editorial Leadership & Strategy: - Develop and implement the editorial strategy for all OnDot Media brands. - Define editorial calendars and thematic pillars for each publication. - Maintain a consistent editorial voice aligned with brand positioning. - Supervise the creation of various content types. - Team Management & Workflow Oversight: - Lead and mentor an editorial team. - Establish workflows, quality standards, and editorial guidelines. - Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, and evaluations. - Manage contributor networks and guest author content. - Quality Control & Content Governance: - Uphold editorial integrity, accuracy, and ethical standards. - Review, approve, and contribute impactful content. - Ensure SEO best practices and brand consistency. - Audience Growth & Engagement: - Utilize analytics to guide content strategy and enhance performance. - Collaborate with marketing to increase readership and engagement. - Experiment with new content formats for better audience engagement. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with marketing to align content objectives. - Collaborate with design, product, and tech teams to enhance content experience. - Act as the editorial representative in cross-team planning and client interactions. - Thought Leadership & Brand Ambassador: - Represent OnDot Media at industry forums and events. - Build relationships with experts and influencers. - Enhance the editorial credibility of OnDot Media brands. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in journalism or digital media, preferably in B2B tech. - Strong editorial leadership skills. - Understanding of enterprise technology domains. - Excellent writing, editing, and SEO skills. - Ability to manage multiple editorial priorities simultaneously. - Experience collaborating with marketing and other teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in B2B publishing or tech reporting. - Familiarity with demand generation workflows. - Exposure to multimedia content formats. - Experience in scaling content teams.
