Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the position of Editor in Chief, based in Uttar Pradesh, India. The Editor in Chief will oversee the editorial team and manage all aspects of content production, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency. Responsibilities include developing content strategies, leading editorial meetings, editing articles, coordinating with writers and reporters, and ensuring timely publication of materials. The role also involves shaping the overall voice of the publication and maintaining high journalistic standards.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in Editing, Proofreading, and quality control of all forms of written content
Strong skills in Content Strategy, Writing, and Team Leadership to guide a dynamic editorial team
Experience in Journalism, Research, and News Reporting to identify and develop impactful stories
Knowledge of Digital Marketing and Audience Engagement to optimize content for maximum reach
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Ability to think critically and creatively to maintain high standards in news forecasting
Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred
Experience in the news or media industry is highly desirable
