Job Title: Edge DevOps Engineer

Location: Pune, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru

Experience: 5+ Years

Employment Type : Contract-to-Hire

Work Mode: Work From Office

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days

Edge DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities -

Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using
Azure DevOps
for applications targeting edge devices and clusters.
Develop and maintain
Ansible
playbooks for provisioning, configuration, and updates of edge infrastructure.
Write and maintain
Bash scripts
to automate routine DevOps tasks and operational workflows.
Containerize applications using
Docker
and deploy them using
Kubernetes
distributions optimized for edge (e.g.,
K3s
,
MicroK8s
).
Ensure high availability, secure communication, and low-latency performance of services at the edge.
Monitor and manage edge deployments using centralized logging, metrics, and alerting tools.
Collaborate with developers to streamline release cycles and implement DevSecOps best practices.
Troubleshoot issues in distributed systems and remote edge nodes with limited connectivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Overall, 5 - 8 years of experience of working on Edge Compute platforms with 4+ years
in Azure DevOps.
Strong experience with
Azure DevOps
(Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts).
Proven hands-on skills in writing
Ansible
playbooks for configuration management.
Advanced
Bash scripting
abilities for automation and troubleshooting.
Proficient in
Docker
containerization and
Kubernetes
orchestration (K8s, K3s, MicroK8s).
Experience with deploying and managing workloads on edge devices or distributed environments.
Solid understanding of
Linux systems
, networking, and security practices.
Familiarity with GitOps workflows and infrastructure as code (Terraform is a plus).
Should have working experience in Edge Compute platform .

Good to have AZ-400,AZ104,AZ900 and CKA certifications
