Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Edge DevOps Engineer with handson experience in deploying automating and managing applications across edge computing environments The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure DevOps Ansible Bash scripting and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes including K3sMicroK8s

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage CICD pipelines using Azure DevOps for applications targeting edge devices and clusters

Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning configuration and updates of edge infrastructure

Write and maintain Bash scripts to automate routine DevOps tasks and operational workflows

Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them using Kubernetes distributions optimized for edge eg K3s MicroK8s

Ensure high availability secure communication and lowlatency performance of services at the edge

Monitor and manage edge deployments using centralized logging metrics and alerting tools

Collaborate with developers to streamline release cycles and implement DevSecOps best practices

Troubleshoot issues in distributed systems and remote edge nodes with limited connectivity

Required Skills Qualifications

Overall 5 8 years of experience of working on Edge Compute platforms with 4 years in Azure DevOps

Strong experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines Repos Artifacts

Proven handson skills in writing Ansible playbooks for configuration management

Advanced Bash scripting abilities for automation and troubleshooting

Proficient in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration K8s K3s MicroK8s

Experience with deploying and managing workloads on edge devices or distributed environments

Solid understanding of Linux systems networking and security practices

Familiarity with GitOps workflows and infrastructure as code Terraform is a plus

Should have working experience in Edge Compute platform

Good to have AZ400AZ104AZ900 and CKA certifications
