eCommerce Marketplace Business Development & Optimization Manager


hands-on experience with marketplace operations, competitive analysis, advertising campaigns, and content optimization



Key Responsibilities:Catalogue & Listing Management – Create and optimize A+ Listings, creative product listings, and brand store content.Competitive Analysis – Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities.Cost& ROI Management – Control ad spend, manage budgets, and ensure profitability.BrandProtection – Identify and resolve brandviolations andinfringement issues across marketplaces.Complaint Resolution – Manage marketplace and customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution.Marketplace Advertising – Plan, execute, and optimize ad campaigns to drive conversions.Keyword Optimization – Improve search rankings and visibility through targeted keyword research.Performance Analysis – Prepare ROI reports, analyze sales trends, and recommend actionable strategies.PostSales Business Development – Implement strategies to maximize repeat purchases and lifetime customer value.BrandGrowth Strategy – Develop and execute long-term brand and marketplace growth plans.Return Management System – Monitor, analyze, and reduce product return rates by identifying root causes (product quality, packaging, wrong orders, etc.) and implementing corrective actions.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Listing Quality Score – % of optimized listings (A+ content, keywords,images).Ad Campaign ROI – Return on ad spend (ROAS) and cost per acquisition (CPA).SalesGrowth Rate – Month-on-month and quarterly revenue increase.Keyword Ranking Improvements – Increase in top search results for target keywords.Marketplace Violation Resolution Time – Average time to resolve brand violations or listing issues.Complaint Resolution Rate – %of marketplace/customer complaints resolved within SLA.Profitability Metrics – Maintain/improve gross profit margins.Customer Retention Rate – Repeat order % growth.Return Resolution Time – Average time to process and close return cases.Key Result Areas (KRAs):Marketplace Listing & Content Optimization – Ensure all listings meet brand and marketplace standards, improving visibility and conversion rates.Sales& ROI Growth – Drive consistent revenue growth while maintaining healthy ROI across campaigns.BrandProtection & Compliance – Proactively manage brand violations, complaints, and marketplace compliance issues.Cost& Budget Efficiency – Optimize ad spend, reduce wastage, and improve profitability.Data-Driven Decision Making – Regularly analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.Return Management Effectiveness – Reduce return percentages, improve reverse logistics efficiency, and minimize revenue loss due to returns.Location:Experience Required:Industry Preference:
