About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core and a solid understanding of MySQL databases to help us build automation, integrations, and backend logic for our Patient Engagement and RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) software.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Tech Lead and Product Team to connect APIs, manage data workflows, and build secure, scalable systems for real-world healthcare use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend APIs using .NET Core (C#).
- Integrate third-party APIs — including PMS, VoIP, texting, or other healthcare systems.
- Design database structures, write stored procedures, and optimize MySQL queries.
- Build automation flows for insurance verification and other RCM processes.
- Manage file handling (PDF uploads/downloads) and ensure secure data storage.
- Collaborate with frontend developers (React/JavaScript) for seamless API integration.
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and security — awareness of HIPAA compliance is a plus.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and document backend systems for efficient maintenance and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core (C#).
- Experience with MySQL or other major relational databases.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and JSON data structures.
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM tools.
- Proficient with Git / GitHub version control.
- Basic understanding of cloud deployment (AWS or Azure).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SignalR or WebSockets (for chat or real-time updates).
- Familiarity with VoIP APIs (Twilio, Vonage, Plivo, etc.).
- Knowledge of Docker or CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to React.js or front-end integration (bonus if full-stack capable).
- Prior experience in Healthcare or RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) systems.
