Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for the prosthesis division in alignment with company goals.
  • Drive innovation and expansion of the prosthetic product portfolio (hip, knee, shoulder, and extremities).
  • Own P&L responsibility; manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to ensure industry leadership.

Product Management & Development

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to deliver next-generation prosthetic solutions.
  • Ensure all products meet clinical, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards (FDA, CE, ISO, MDR, etc.).
  • Partner with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to secure product approvals and manage audits.

Sales Strategy & Execution (Domestic & International)

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across domestic and overseas markets.
  • Develop and implement country-specific sales strategies and expansion plans.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, proposals, pricing, negotiation, and closure.
  • Coordinate with export/logistics teams for timely delivery and regulatory compliance in international markets.
  • Provide technical expertise, product training, and marketing support to commercial teams.
  • Represent the division at key conferences, industry events, and customer meetings.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, and clinical experts.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in the orthopedic medical device industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within prosthetics.
  • Strong understanding of implant design, materials, biomechanics, and surgical techniques.
  • Proven success in managing product portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (FDA, CE, MDR, ISO 13485).
  • Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
