To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, along with 8-12 years of experience in project management in the power transmission and distribution sector. In-depth knowledge of smart metering systems, electrical distribution, and power management is essential, along with familiarity with industry trends, technologies, and standards related to smart metering. Strong project management skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in written and verbal communication are also required. Understanding of local and national regulations and standards governing smart meter installations and power distribution is vital, as well as the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and technological advancements in the smart metering field.,
