Job Description: Dispatcher (India – Dispatch Support Team)


Position Overview


The Dispatcher (India Support) plays a critical role in providing scheduling, coordination, and operational support for international field teams. This role requires excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly tech-savvy, quick to respond, and comfortable working night shifts to align with overseas operations.


Key Responsibilities


Personnel Data Entry: Accurately enter new hire and rehire information into the dispatch and scheduling system with speed and precision.


Crew Scheduling: Prepare and update daily crew rosters based on project requirements, personnel availability, geographic needs, and skill levels.


Project Coordination: Support the management of high-profile international projects through clear, consistent communication with key stakeholders.


Workforce Assignment: Assign qualified and properly trained personnel to job sites, ensuring all staffing meets project and compliance standards.


Compliance Knowledge: Maintain a clear understanding of relevant union regulations, agreements, and dispatch procedures required for international operations.


Client Relations: Maintain positive, professional relationships with customers globally, addressing requests and concerns quickly and effectively.


Real-Time Communication: Respond rapidly to calls, emails, and messages to manage scheduling changes, emergencies, and daily dispatch needs.


Operational Support: Assist in project planning and resource allocation to meet safety, efficiency, and customer service goals.


Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with supervisors, managers, and field teams abroad to ensure proper staffing and operational coverage.


Performance Monitoring: Track attendance, field performance, and deployment to support payroll, invoicing, and operational reporting.


Qualifications

  • Very tech-savvy, with strong proficiency in digital tools, scheduling platforms, cloud systems, spreadsheets, messaging platforms, and real-time communication software.
  • Experience in dispatching, scheduling, workforce management, or operations support—preferably in an international or high-volume setting.
  • Ability and willingness to work overnight shifts to support international time zones.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent multitasking abilities, with quick decision-making and a sense of urgency.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and communication.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to handle fast-changing operational needs.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
