Job Description

As a scheduler for freight deliveries and pickups, your role involves efficiently coordinating drivers and shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery. You will be responsible for: - Scheduling drivers for freight deliveries and pickups, as well as communicating with customers regarding shipment details, delivery times, and any special handling requests. - Planning and adjusting routes as necessary to optimize delivery efficiency. - Preparing dispatch documents, generating freight bills, and maintaining accurate records of driver routes and delivery times. - Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and laws, monitoring driver logs, and overseeing truck maintenance schedules. - Logging customer shipping schedules and addressing any complaints promptly. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree is required. - Proficiency in Transportation Management Software (TMS) such as Samsara and Rose Rocket. - Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. - Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express. - Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws. Please note that this is a full-time position with a night shift schedule. Fluency in English is essential, and the work location is in person. Your expected start date is 24/06/2025.,
