Dispatch Executive

Key Responsibilities: Plan and schedule dispatches based on orders, priority, and delivery timelines. Coordinate with drivers, transporters, and warehouse staff to ensure on-time departures and arrivals. Track shipments and provide real-time updates to internal teams and customers. Verify documentation such as invoices, delivery notes, and transport permits before dispatch. Maintain records of all dispatches, deliveries, and returns. Resolve delivery-related issues such as delays, shortages, or damaged goods. Liaise with the operations team to manage inventory for dispatch readiness. Monitor vehicle utilization and fuel consumption to improve cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations. Generate dispatch reports for management review. Required Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). 1–3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or transport coordination. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and dispatch management software. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of local transport regulations and routes (advantageous). Performance Indicators (KPIs):On-time delivery rate. Dispatch accuracy (correct items and quantities). Cost efficiency in transport utilization. Customer satisfaction with delivery timelines.
