Procurement Strategy & Planning · Develop and execute purchasing strategies to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and other essential supplies. · Analyze consumption trends and production forecasts to plan procurement schedules. · Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or timelines. 2. Vendor Management · Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery parameters. · Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors to secure the best value. · Monitor supplier performance and build strong, long-term vendor relationships. 3. ERP & Purchase Operations · Manage all procurement activities through ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). · Ensure timely creation of Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs). · Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases in the ERP system. 4. Cost & Quality Control · Ensure procurement of materials as per required specifications and company quality standards. · Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to handle non-conforming goods. · Track price fluctuations and market trends for critical inputs and raw materials. 5. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar, and come preferably from the snacks, food manufacturing, or FMCG industry. This position is critical in ensuring the smooth handling of materials, proper inventory management, and seamless coordination with production and procurement teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management · Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and spare parts using ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.). · Monitor stock levels and ensure timely reordering to avoid shortages or overstocking. · Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stock audits; reconcile discrepancies. 2.
