About the Role

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Program

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

  • Lead the PGDM program in line with AICTE/UGC guidelines and institutional vision.
  • Drive curriculum design, review, and implementation to ensure industry relevance and global standards.
  • Foster academic excellence through innovative pedagogy, case-based learning, research, and experiential projects.
  • Mentor faculty and students to achieve high academic standards and holistic growth.

Strategic & Administrative Leadership

  • Formulate and execute the strategic vision for the PGDM program.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (AICTE, NBA, NAAC, etc.).
  • Oversee admissions strategy, student recruitment, and enrollment targets.
  • Manage program budgets, faculty development plans, and academic resources effectively.

Industry & Corporate Engagement

  • Build strong collaborations with industry leaders for placements, internships, live projects, and guest lectures.
  • Enhance the brand positioning of the PGDM program through corporate tie-ups, events, and partnerships.
  • Encourage entrepreneurship and innovation through incubation, startup support, and industry mentoring.

Research & Development

  • Promote faculty and student research, publications, and case writing.
  • Lead initiatives for international collaborations, exchange programs, and conferences.
  • Encourage interdisciplinary research in emerging areas like AI, Analytics, Sustainability, and Entrepreneurship.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education:

    Ph.D. in Management (preferred) or equivalent with first-class at Master’s level in Management (MBA/PGDM).
  • Experience:

    Minimum 15 years of academic/industry experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Dean/Director/Head of Department) in reputed management institutions.
  • Strong academic credentials with research publications in reputed journals.
  • Proven track record in institution building, accreditations (NBA/NAAC/AICTE), and academic leadership.
  • Excellent industry connect and experience in fostering corporate partnerships.
  • Visionary leadership with strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.
