Role Summary

Director of Operations

• Lead the Operations, Logistics, Measurement, Production, Vendor, Installation & QC teams
• Build systems, SOPs, timelines, and cross-department coordination
• Ensure MIT’s signature speed + quality + experience in every project
• Optimize workflows, reduce errors, and scale capacity

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Leadership

• Oversee daily operations across

  Measurement, Design, Production, Quality Check, Dispatch, Installation, Rectification, and Client Handover

  .
• Build and enforce

  SOPs

  for all departments – Sales, Design, Logistics, Production, Installation.
• Ensure

  correct tagging and client status updates

  across DoubleTick/ERP.
• Maintain cross-department alignment and daily check-ins.

• 2. End-to-End Project Management

• Own project lifecycle from measurement to installation.
• Create and manage

  timelines, dependencies, vendor planning

  , and installation calendars.
• Approve measurement notes, site readiness, and post-measurement videos as mandatory.
• Ensure 100% documentation: notes, next steps, dates, photos & videos.

• 3. Vendor & Installer Management

• Build and manage vendor/installer network (wallpaper, panels, blind, vertical garden).
• Negotiate and maintain quality standards, timelines, and payment terms.
• Solve escalations: delays, damages, travel allocation, reinstallation.
• Track vendor performance and reliability metrics.

• 4. Quality Control & Issue Resolution

• Ensure delivery meets MIT’s quality benchmarks: print quality, colors, measurements, installation finish.
• Follow MIT’s

  24–48 hour rectification policy

• Conduct root-cause analysis for issues (measurement, vendor error, client error) and maintain reports.

• 5. Client Experience

• Ensure smooth communication with clients during operations phase.
• Handle escalations professionally with empathy + solution-first mindset.
• Ensure frequent updates via WhatsApp and email during the project cycle.
• Conduct final quality checks before handover.

• 6. Team Management & Culture

• Lead Operations Executives, Logistics, Field Experts & Installers.
• Conduct weekly performance reviews, training, and upskilling.
• Build a strong, emotionally intelligent, supportive team culture.
• Improve team productivity, reduce errors, and create ownership-driven work.

• 7. Systems & Scaling

• Optimize production capacity and timelines.
• Improve efficiency in:
• Daily operation trackers
• Material planning
• Vendor allocation
• Delivery schedules
• Installation SLAs
• Integrate automation, AI workflows, and dashboards.

• Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years experience in operations/project management (preferably interiors, printing, execution, logistics).
• Strong ability to manage fast-paced, multi-project environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication & conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong understanding of

  SOP building, vendor management, installation planning

  , and production workflows.
• Tech-friendly: DoubleTick, CRM tools, Google Sheets, dashboards, WhatsApp-based communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making.
• Ability to handle clients with maturity and empathy.

• Flexibility during critical installations
