Educational Qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree in Engineering or Technology

  in a relevant discipline.
• First class at

  Bachelor’s (B.E./B.Tech.)

  and

  Master’s (M.E./M.Tech.)

  levels in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university.

Experience:

• Minimum

  15 years of experience

  in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least

  3 years shall be at the level of Professor

  in a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated academic leadership, administrative capability, and contribution to curriculum design, R&D, or accreditation processes.

Desirable:

• Active participation in

  HPTU academic bodies

  , NAAC/NBA accreditation processes, and institutional development projects.
• Proven record of

  research guidance, publications, patents, or consultancy

  .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide

  strategic academic and administrative leadership

  in line with

  HPTU and AICTE

  norms.
• Lead curriculum implementation, research, and faculty development across all engineering departments.
• Ensure compliance with

  HPTU academic regulations, AICTE norms, and quality-assurance standards

  .
• Foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary learning.
• Supervise student performance, placements, and institutional outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate with HPTU, AICTE, and other regulatory authorities for inspections, reporting, and accreditation.
• Promote collaboration with industry and research organizations for experiential learning and knowledge exchange.
