Job Description

As a core member of the Regional Media Planning & Buying team, you will lead media strategy, ensure optimal budget utilization, and drive cross-channel performance. You will also contribute to new business efforts through pitch development and presentations. This role requires deep knowledge of the Indian media landscape and branding-focused tools. You’ll manage a media portfolio of ₹60–80 Cr and lead a team of 4–5 professionals. Key Responsibilities Lead media strategy and planning with a focus on branding; embed best practices across teams. Oversee planning deliverables, ensuring high-quality outputs and alignment with campaign goals. Set standards for media plans, performance reports, and post-campaign analysis. Collaborate with Analytics and Strategy teams to refine planning processes. Drive 1–2 quarterly internal projects to boost team capability and efficiency. Mentor team members in strategic thinking, presentation skills, and execution. Resolve team issues and improve workflow, delivery quality, and team satisfaction. Lead planning for new business pitches and maintain senior-level client relationships. Manage team capacity, resource planning, and performance. Team Leadership & Development Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture. Guide team toward meeting client and business objectives. Lead by example in client servicing and project execution. Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing team development. Recommend process enhancements and planning optimizations. Skills & Qualifications Expertise in forecasting brand and ROI campaign outcomes; experience managing large budgets. Proficient in tools like DV360, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Comscore, GWI, TGI. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities. Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities. Responsive and effective in providing actionable team feedback. Experience: 9–12 years, with a mix of agency and in-house brand experience.
