Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director - IT Project  to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale technology initiatives on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-level IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Define portfolio scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams, including internal staff, vendors, and consultants.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and tools.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation across program and delivery teams.
  • Provide program leadership to manage and deliver on complex enterprise IT initiatives including multiple programs across an enterprise portfolio.
  • Guide and support RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, response development including writing of whitepapers and concept development.
  • Develop and provide presentations and demonstrations of technology solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accountable for well-balanced team structures, succession planning, and leadership pipelines

Roles and Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex IT projects (e.g., ERP, cloud migration, digital transformation).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Budgeting and financial management experience.
