Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Digital Marketing Specialist with expertise in the travel and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing online marketing strategies, optimizing brand visibility, and driving customer engagement. The specialist will be responsible for creating and managing campaigns that cater to a global audience, leveraging digital tools and platforms to drive sales and brand awareness in the competitive travel and MICE sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to the travel and MICE industry.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that drive customer engagement and conversions.
- Identify new digital marketing opportunities and trends within the travel and events sectors to stay ahead of the competition.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Create and manage engaging content across various digital channels (social media, blogs, website, email newsletters, etc.).
- Develop content specific to the travel and MICE industry, including destination highlights, event planning insights, travel tips, and case studies.
- Coordinate with designers, writers, and other stakeholders to ensure content is aligned with the brand's messaging and goals.
- SEO & SEM Optimization:
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website and content for SEO to increase organic traffic.
- Manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads) to drive targeted traffic to websites.
- Continuously analyze performance metrics, adjust campaigns, and implement best practices to maximize ROI.
- Social Media Marketing:
- We are looking for someone who is specialized in Google ads.
- Develop and execute social media strategies for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, with a focus on the travel and MICE audience.
- Create and schedule posts, manage social media accounts, and monitor engagement and interactions.
- Track and report on social media performance, adjusting strategies to improve reach and engagement.
- Email Marketing Campaigns:
- Design and implement email marketing campaigns targeting specific customer segments (e.g., corporate clients, event planners, travelers).
- Analyze campaign performance, track open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to refine future campaigns.
- Build and maintain email lists and segment audiences based on behavior and demographics.
- Website & Analytics Management:
- Oversee the management of the company website to ensure it is up-to-date and aligned with digital marketing efforts.
- Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to monitor website performance, track user behavior, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on digital marketing campaign performance, tracking KPIs such as traffic, leads, conversions, and ROI.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving digital marketing performance in the travel and MICE space.
- Collaboration & Industry Partnerships:
- Collaborate with industry influencers, media partners, and other stakeholders to enhance online visibility.
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences to network and stay informed about trends in the travel and MICE sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, specifically within the travel and MICE industry.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing.
- Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in the travel and MICE industry.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of website design and management, including WordPress or similar platforms.
- Experience with influencer partnerships or working with industry-specific platforms.
Work Environment:
- Full-time position and onsite work only.
