We are on a mission to bring authentic, farm-fresh A2 Ghee to modern Indian households through both online and offline channels. To accelerate our growth, we are building a world-class performance marketing engine and looking for a strategic yet hands-on Social Media & Performance Marketing Manager to own this growth mandate.

Role Overview

As our Social Media & Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing digital campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google (Search, Display, YouTube), and other performance channels. You will be the architect of Shahji Ghee’s digital growth engine—driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through data-driven marketing strategies.

This role is ideal for someone who has scaled a D2C brand, understands the intricacies of digital platforms, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Marketing & Paid Ads

  • Strategize, execute, and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads Manager (Facebook, Instagram), Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube), and Instagram Boosting.
  • Achieve profitable ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) while scaling spend sustainably.
  • Run retargeting, lookalike, and audience segmentation campaigns to maximize conversion.
  • Manage end-to-end funnel: ad creatives, copywriting, targeting, bidding, testing, and scaling.
  • Monitor and optimize CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV (Customer Lifetime Value), and CTRs.

Creative & Content Collaboration

  • Work with internal/external teams to create thumb-stopping ad creatives, reels, shorts, and landing pages.
  • A/B test creatives and messaging to identify winning combinations.
  • Ensure all campaigns reflect the brand’s heritage, trust, and premium positioning.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Own Shahji Ghee’s marketing dashboards—track KPIs daily/weekly/monthly.
  • Use Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and other tools to monitor campaign performance.
  • Generate actionable insights and present growth reports to management.

SEO & Organic Growth

  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website rankings.
  • Optimize blog content, product descriptions, and YouTube SEO for discoverability.
  • Build an organic community through consistent engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Growth Experiments & Scaling

  • Identify new channels beyond Meta & Google (e.g., Affiliate marketing, Influencer collaborations, Amazon Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to expand reach.
  • Test and scale new ad formats (Reels ads, Shorts ads, Discovery campaigns).
  • Develop email & WhatsApp marketing funnels for retention.
  • Plan and execute campaigns around festivals, launches, and promotions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the eCommerce, operations, and creative team to ensure seamless customer journeys.
  • Align marketing efforts with inventory, logistics, and sales goals.

Key Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing for D2C FMCG / consumer brands.
  • Proven track record of achieving high ROAS at scale (please showcase campaigns in portfolio).
  • Expertise in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, SEO, and GA4.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to deep-dive into data and extract insights.
  • Creative mindset with ability to brief designers and content creators effectively.
  • Hunger to build and scale a legacy brand in the digital age.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
