Sanmarg, a leading Hindi news publisher, seeks a Digital Editor to lead our digital news operations. You'll drive audience engagement and traffic growth by creating and optimizing compelling content across digital platforms. Responsibilities include managing a team of digital journalists, ensuring journalistic integrity, and innovating content formats. The ideal candidate has strong Hindi language skills, digital editorial experience, and a deep understanding of SEO, social media, and web analytics. You'll use data to inform content strategies and maintain a cutting-edge digital presence. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the digital newsroom operations. Oversee news selection, editing, and publishing on website and social media. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and journalistic integrity in all digital content. Develop content strategies to increase reader engagement, traffic, and reach. Coordinate with reporters, photo/video teams, and graphic designers. Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize content. Innovate new formats (short videos, explainers, interactive stories) for digital consumption. Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in digital news media, including editorial responsibilities. Strong command of Hindi language (typing, editing, and headline writing). Understanding of SEO, digital publishing tools (CMS), and social media trends. Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively. Preferred Skills: Experience with web analytics tools. Knowledge of video content strategy and digital storytelling formats.
