Job Description

DevOps Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure & Security – Healthcare SaaS)

Experience: 4 – 7 years (Healthcare SaaS or regulated data environments preferred)

Role Overview

You will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud

infrastructure to host a React + Django + PostgreSQL-based healthcare product. The role

requires strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, load balancing,

and a working knowledge of security protocols and compliance frameworks (PDPA, HIPAA,

ISO 27001).

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for React (frontend), Django (backend), and

PostgreSQL (database) applications using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or

Jenkins.

Containerize all components with Docker and orchestrate deployments using

Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.

Configure load balancing and auto-scaling for high availability (Nginx, AWS ALB, Azure

Front Door, or HAProxy).

Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Terraform / CloudFormation,

ensuring 99.9 % uptime and cost efficiency.

Implement centralized monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack,

CloudWatch) for performance and incident tracking.

Enforce data protection and security protocols — TLS/SSL, MFA, AES-256 encryption at

rest, IAM policies, role-based access controls.

Support backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies for PostgreSQL and file

storage.

Conduct security audits and penetration testing in coordination with the compliance

team.

Collaborate with developers to optimize build size, caching, and resource utilization for

React and Django deployments.

Maintain versioned configuration repositories and promote a culture of infrastructure

as code.

Requirements

Strong working knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP cloud ecosystems.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL performance tuning, backup, and replication strategies.
Sound understanding of network security, load balancing, and firewall management.
Practical knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, TLS/SSL, and API gateway configuration.
Experience in automating deployments and managing multi-environment release

workflows.

Exposure to security compliance frameworks (PDPA, HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Bonus Skills

Experience with serverless compute (AWS Lambda / Azure Functions) for lightweight

APIs.

Familiarity with cost optimization, log analytics, and multi-region deployments.
Understanding of application-layer security testing (OWASP Top 10).
Prior experience hosting healthcare or enterprise SaaS products.

Performance Indicators

Stable cloud uptime (≥ 99.9 %).
Efficient CI/CD with minimal build failures.
Verified compliance with encryption / security audit checklists.
Timely recovery validation (RTO/RPO ≤ defined limits).
Cost-optimized and scalable deployments aligned with product growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹388,298.13 - ₹1,562,284.44 per year
