About this opportunity:
At Ericsson, join as a DevOps Architect to define and drive architecture, standards and automation strategies for 4G/5G customer networks. You will guide engineering teams, set platform direction, and ensure secure, scalable, and reliable DevOps solutions across product portfolios and business cases.
What you will do:
- Define DevOps and cloud-native architecture, standards, and best practices for 4G/5G customer networks.
- Lead technical roadmaps, evaluate technologies, and drive platform designs for scalable, resilient systems.
- Architect and approve CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and release automation across environments.
- Partner with development, SRE, and delivery teams to translate business needs into secure, operable platforms.
- Drive observability, performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident response improvements.
- Champion automation for infrastructure, deployments, and lifecycle management; lead rollouts in customer environments.
- Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
- Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management.
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
- Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives
- Rollout automation in customer environment
- Good in troubleshooting during the Live Node Activities
The skills you bring:
- Deep expertise in Git, Ansible, Python, Bash, json/yaml and Linux (Ubuntu 20.04/22.04 or RHEL 7/8).
- Strong architecture experience with Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and cloud-native design patterns.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tooling and pipeline orchestration (GitLab/Azure DevOps/GitHub CI preferred).
- Hands-on knowledge of configuration management (Ansible, Puppet/Chef), artifact repositories, and SAST tools (SonarQube).
- Experience designing solutions on public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid deployments.
- Familiarity with monitoring, security/compliance tooling, observability stacks, and enterprise operations.
- Experience defining SLAs/SLOs, capacity planning, and reliability engineering practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills; experience in Agile/DevOps ways of working.
