Job Description: DevOps Architect-Azure

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect with 10+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale DevOps strategies across multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will lead CI/CD transformations, drive infrastructure automation, and define cloud-native architectural patterns while mentoring DevOps teams and engaging with stakeholders to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Architecture & DevOps Strategy

• Architect and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Support deployment pipelines for diverse workloads (.NET, Node.js, Android, iOS, Containers).
• Ensure efficient branching strategies, approvals, and use of self-hosted agents in Azure DevOps.

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

• Design and manage cloud-native infrastructure in Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Define landing zones, network topologies, and high-availability architectures.
• Secure cloud environments with Azure Firewall, Cloudflare WAF, Palo Alto, and TLS/SSL lifecycle management.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Champion infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and Terraform Cloud Workspaces.
• Automate deployment of complex, multi-environment systems and networks.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes (AKS, ECS, ACI).
• Manage microservices architecture with observability and resilience in mind.

Monitoring & Observability

• Set up comprehensive monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, and Azure Monitor.
• Build real-time dashboards and configure proactive alerts for performance and availability.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Implement ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and related tools.

AI/ML & Intelligent DevOps (Preferred)

• Leverage tools like Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML, GitHub Copilot, and AI Agents to enhance automation, predictions, and pipeline optimization.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, and Automation.
• Strong hands-on skills in Azure, and working experience with AWS or OCI.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or similar.
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS/WAF, and TLS/SSL management.
• Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Cloud Certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, etc.).
• Experience with AI/ML integration into DevOps workflows.
• Familiarity with Office365 administration and enterprise IT operations.
• Ability to lead teams of 20–30 engineers across cross-functional projects.
