PwC’s Global Incentives Services (GIS) helps clients identify and secure government and EU incentives for investment and innovation. With over 500 in-country experts, GIS combines deep domain expertise with robust technology platforms to streamline incentive identification, qualification, compliance, and reporting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Designing and developing scalable web applications using .NET Core and Angular.
- Working across legacy MVC-based applications and modern event-driven architectures.
- Creating and optimizing RESTful APIs and asynchronous data flows using Azure Functions and Queues.
- Managing complex business logic for data processing, eligibility validation, and reporting.
- Collaborating in Agile teams to deliver secure and maintainable code.
- Developing and deploying using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git/Azure DevOps).
- Troubleshooting issues across services and supporting the resolution of incidents.
- Documenting designs and implementation for future scalability and compliance.
Minimum Years Experience Required
- 2–4 years of full-stack or backend development experience.
- Strong experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Angular (v10+).
- Proficient in Azure PaaS services like Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Storage Queues, Event Grid.
- Solid experience with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and writing optimized queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with design patterns like Repository, Factory, Strategy; Event Sourcing and CQRS.
- Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous messaging.
- Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams using collaboration tools.
- Ideally, you will also have
- Experience with Power BI Embedded or reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of GDPR, data residency, and regional compliance standards.
- Understanding of test automation frameworks and secure coding principles.
- Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
