About the Role

Design Engineer

This is a cross-functional role that involves engineering design, BOQ preparation, code compliance, and collaboration with U.S.-based code specialists and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop

  detailed engineering designs

  , technical drawings, and calculations for ECMs in solar, HVAC, CHP, and water systems.
• Prepare

  engineering layouts, schematics, and bills of quantities (BOQs)

  .
• Perform

  value engineering

  to ensure cost-effective, high-performing designs.
• Support continuous

  design optimization

  efforts across multidisciplinary projects.
• Collaborate closely with

  U.S. compliance specialists

  to ensure adherence to relevant international and local codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure design intent is maintained through execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering

  .
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in designing infrastructure or MEP systems.
• Familiarity with energy-efficient technologies and ECMs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
• Strong understanding of

  engineering codes and standards

  .
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with U.S.-based clients or familiarity with U.S. construction codes.
• Prior exposure to sustainability or green building projects.
• Certifications in LEED, PMP, or energy auditing tools (preferred but not mandatory).
