Job Description

Job Title: Design EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with a proven track record in CAD migration and a strong understanding of automotive vehicle architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with various CAD platforms and demonstrate proficiency in both CATIA V5/V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE. This role requires excellent communication skills and the flexibility to support non-CAD tasks.

Responsibilities

Migrate CAD by downloading items from CATIA V5/Teamcenter and uploading them into 3DEXPERIENCE while ensuring assemblies maintain their exact positional relationships.
Create and update instances in a Digital Integration environment.
Understand and apply automotive vehicle architecture, including chassis, body, and powertrain interfaces.
Apply structural design principles, considering loads, materials, stiffness, and crash constraints.
Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for various documentation and communication tasks.
Participate in non-CAD tasks including documentation, cross-team support, and data analysis.

Essential Skills

Minimum 4 years of hands-on CAD experience in new part development or post-release operations/support.
Expertise in CATIA V5 and V6, including part design, assemblies, surface work, and 2D drawings.
Hands-on experience with Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, specifically Teamcenter and ENOVIA, for data management, revisions, and workflows.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Flexibility to assist with non-CAD tasks when necessary.

The role may require occasional cross-team collaboration and the ability to adapt to various project needs.
