Exception management, including timely escalation of discrepancies to appropriate stakeholders, follow up and ownership through to resolution Have required communication with Recon team for better understanding of their workflow and making reporting process more efficient Ensure all SLA/KPI as agreed with Client is met with 100% accuracy and timeliness Manage the broker relationships with timely responses to their queries and settling the outstanding brokerage within agreeable period All reports to be prepared accurately and submitted on time as per timelines agreed with client. All exceptions are tracked and escalated as per timelines agreed. EOD checklists are reviewed and saved on daily basis Ensure you are aware & trained on all activities/reports in the team with no dependency on Client and team. Zero escalations from brokers for inadequate response. Have regular interactions and review meetings with Client Identify areas of improvement and propose solutions & Ensure any and all change in the process is reported and documented. Assist TL/Management in any adhoc requests and support during their absence. Key responsibilities include preparing capital calls, processing payments, reconciling cash, and positions, and ensuring accuracy through control checks. Candidates should have fund accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with financial software like GENEVA/WSO. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform Fund accounting function of the Hedge Funds that include recording preparing Monthly & Quarterly Financials, processing payments, preparing investor notices and various client reporting. Obtaining monthly NAV statements for various Hedge funds and calculating unrealized gain loss for Investment fund. Performing pre-distribution analysis on sale of an investment to arrive at proceeds to be distributed to investors. Prepare Capital calls memos, distribution notices & wires of various Hedge fund. Updating and creating SOPs for different deliverables in the process for easy reference and also created control checks for accuracy of the deliverables Setting up and reviewing the wires to show movement of cash. Analyse payment against accruals like Management fee, audit fee, legal fee etc and record proper entries. Record Contribution & distribution as per the Capital call and distribution based on the notices. Reconciliation of Cash & Position on Hedge Funds. Qualifications Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 3-8 years of experience in fund accounting or related financial roles. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in financial software applications, including GENEVA/ WSO. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Working Conditions This position is primarily office-based, US shift hours, with flexibility required to meet deadlines or address urgent issues.

The model could be an existing or a new model. Understand the features, assumptions and limitations of the model, propose a validation approach, identify target market data for the purposes of validation and undertake the validation within agreed time lines. The market risk models may include Value-at-Risk (VaR), Stressed VaR, Risk Not In VaR (RNIV), Stress Testing, Economic Capital, Incremental Risk Charge (IRC), Fundamental Review of Trading Book (FRTB) Participate in adhoc projects as they arise from time to time and provide any information relating to in a prompt and coherent fashion. Suggest improvements to the existing frameworks with a view to automate systems and help implement agreed changes Identify areas for efficiency improvements, automation and enhanced controls in existing processes. Document proposed changes and agree with the on-shore process team prior to implementation. Document all process changes and improvements to reflect the latest process Being able to clearly explain model details to other areas of the bank in non-technical language, and assisting in the on-going usage of these models in a day-to-day risk management setting, e.g. helping to explain significant model value changes Qualifications Qualification in Maths/Engineering/Science/Finance/Business Management or previous experience in risk management. Basic understanding of market risk measures and derivative products Professional qualifications such as FRM/PRM/CFA Levels are an added plus Good understanding of statistics Python and Excel VBA skills are a pre-requisite, C++ is an added benefit Competent in the production of information, and the ability to process and analyse large volumes of data Ability to work under pressure and to tight time-lines is essential Open personality and effective communication skills, ability and flexibility to work in an international team Ability to write clear and understandable documents
