Risk Senior Specialist, AVP

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Market Risk Analysis and Control (MRAC) function within Market and Valuation Risk Management (MVRM) at Deutsche Bank. Your main responsibility will be providing official market risk metrics and core analysis for the Global Foreign Exchange asset class. The team operates with a global presence and is proficient in risk management techniques, automation tools like Python, and visualization skills. Your role will involve enhancing team outputs through automation tools and risk knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the Capital Release Unit (CRU) Book of Work and provide backup coverage for CPM business - Validate and sign off on risks in a timely manner by collaborating with the production team in Pune - Review and understand metrics such as VaR, SVaR, Economic Capital, FRTB, and Backtesting - Ensure all control checks are in place and followed by the team for accurate report generation - Analyze market data time series and assess the impact on metrics - Automate reporting infrastructure tactically and work with IT teams for strategic automation - Conduct deep dive analysis on risk concentrations and emerging items, providing accurate information for senior management - Analyze limits and propose changes, support portfolio-level communication with senior management Qualifications Required: - University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other quantitative subjects; certification in risk (FRM or similar) is a plus - 6+ years of experience in Market Risk within the Financial Market/Investment Banking industry - Working knowledge of Python/VBA, Tableau; familiarity with AI adoption - Understanding of Market Risk measurement techniques such as VaR, Economic Capital, IRC - Previous experience in Credit/CPM/CVA is advantageous - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines - Committed to self-development and growth Additional Details: Deutsche Bank offers various benefits including a comprehensive leave policy, parental leaves, childcare assistance, sponsorship for relevant certifications, and education, among others.
