Job Description

Job Purpose "This position is open with Bajaj Finance ltd." Candidate will be responsible for managing through the door reports, IT / System enhancements, data analysis and reporting related tasks to support Portfolio Management for respective Business Duties and Responsibilities Highlight cases triggered as per through the door rule set. Engage with sales and credit teams to identify risk. Formulate learnings from through the door into policies Actively engage in Portfolio management / Policy amendment and implementing agreed policies on SFDC, for underwriting and line assignment rules. Propose policy refinements as per business/market requirement. Identify opportunities and propose strategies to enhance business. Formulate, implement and monitor portfolio segments to enable Business Teams Monitor, manage & refine IT platform SFDC for better risk management. Execute reports on SFDC, Datamart, etc. to identify any issues related to incorrect system behavior (e.g. case approved by system which ideally should be rejected as per Policy). Periodic testing of System validation approval and line assignment rules Routine interaction with stakeholder (Business, Credit, RCU, Ops and IT), and tracking / closure of minute items. Work with COE and Product team to formulate, test and implement business opportunities/requirements Conduct Business UAT for new developments, provide signoff and closely monitor the development post production deployment. Periodic reporting of MIS and Dashboards (Bounce, Projected risk metrics, etc.) Assist Sales Team to resolve cases which are stuck due to system issues. Key Decisions / Dimensions Building framework to continuously assess and evaluate system capabilities to eliminate operational loss / incorrect system behavior Propose policy / process changes for betterment of risk performance Other Dimensions (Significant volume dimensions associated with the job) ‚ Total Team Size:BL- 9 & Prof Loans - 4 ‚ Number of Direct Reports:Not Applicable ‚ Number of Indirect Reports:Not Applicable ‚ Number of Outsourced employees:Not Applicable ‚ Number of locations: ‚ Number of products:All SME Products (Business Loans & Prof Loan) Major Challenges Dynamic portfolio with multiple variables influencing risk performance Understanding multiple risk rule on approval- Expertise required to manage complex workflows and understand interlinkages. Draw meaningful / actionable insights based on data analysis Required Qualifications and Experience Qualifications Post graduate with understanding of risk parameters and portfolio management. a)Work Experience 3- 4 years of experience in lending business with specific experience in Unsecured lending Proficiency in data analysis- understanding and processing data to arrive at meaningful risk metrics and relevance to portfolio conditions Excellent Excel & Power Point proficiency Basic understanding of IT / System skills. Expertise in understanding Financials and Banking and Bureau information.
