Deputy Manager – Talent Acquisition

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from requisition to onboarding
  • Source top talent through job boards, social media, and referrals
  • Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks

2. Offer Management

  • Negotiate and finalize offers with shortlisted candidates
  • Maintain clear communication with candidates & hiring managers

3. Pre-Onboarding Coordination

  • Handle background checks, document verification, and induction prep

4. Policy Compliance

  • Ensure recruitment processes align with internal policies and legal requirements

5. Diversity Hiring

  • Drive initiatives to attract and build a diverse workforce

6. Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate recruitment MIS, dashboards, and analytics
  • Track time-to-hire, source effectiveness & pipeline metrics

7. Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure smooth and proactive communication with hiring managers & cross-functional teams

8. Vendor Management

  • Manage and evaluate recruitment partners for quality and efficiency

9. TAT & Manpower Budget Adherence

  • Ensure timely hiring within defined manpower budgets

10. Strategic Hiring Initiatives

  • Develop innovative sourcing and hiring strategies
  • Create and update job descriptions
  • Continuously refine and enhance recruitment processes

Requirements

  • MBA in HR or related specialization
  • 5–7 years

    of experience in

    Talent Acquisition

    , preferably in Retail
  • Strong experience in

    store hiring

  • Proven track record in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management & negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
