Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • This position requires analysis, understanding and interpretation of entire gamut of Human Resources functions of the company. Based on this, the candidate needs to undertake course of action for necessary control and contribution for taking the business to the next level of excellence and improve upon the Human Resources Policies which are existing in order to support business position of JOST India & leverage this to the advantage to JOST Group
  • The incumbent must be well experienced in systems / processes / tools in use as well as the recent updates in field of human resources. The Candidate should be having high analytical skills with a vision for in-depth analysis, having excellent communication, interpretation skills in English besides Indian Language(s) and high comfort levels working with MS Office
  • The position requires that the candidate should be able to work in a complex cross-border / matrix organization, and become effective by building the right relationships

Responsibilities

The candidate, as the HR lead will be responsible for improving, implementing monitoring and controlling of all the processes under Human Resources ambit for JOST India and ensuring the compliance of all the industrial / labour laws.

  • Industrial Relation: Dealing with Trade Union & Participating in Union Management

  • Liaison with Govt. Authorities Viz. P.F., ESIC, Labour Deptt., Directorate of Factories, Pollution Board, District Administration, Deptt. Of Industries, Police Personnel. Etc.

  • Liaising with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors

  • Manpower Planning & budgeting in line with annual business plan and ensure its availability.
  • Recruitment and selection of the Human resources in line with functional requirements
  • Induction and placement of new recruits including transfer of existing employees where applicable.
  • Review of monthly departmental performance and initiation of measures required
  • Performance Management System & Career Planning
  • Organizational Development
  • Improve / develop and implement the HR Policies in line with the business requirements.
  • Training and Development
  • Wage & Salary Administration of the employees
  • Maintenance of Industrial Discipline (handling of all IR issues)
  • Ensuring the legal compliance of the factory and or other legal requirements
  • Co-ordinate and execute Internal / External audits and ensure compliance
  • Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment, and taking appropriate action

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduation plus MSW Full time

    MUST

  • Good scores (average 60%) throughout the career
  • Fluency in MS- Office
  • Expertise in advance Excel and Power point
  • Fluency and command over spoken and written English
  • Experience working in an International organization in the last 5 years

    MANDATORY

  • Working knowledge on ERP in manufacturing process (MRP)
  • Knowledge on IATF requirements for HR process
  • Ability of lead, business model and given in-put based on overall strategic business environment
  • Degree in Law to be advantageous
  • Fluency in Local language

Personal Attributes / Skills

  • Ability to mentor and coach the team and lead from the front
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop market or influence others inside and outside the organisation to take specific actions
  • Sound knowledge of Current HR / Business Processes / Labour Laws

The incumbent sets priorities and establishes a work plan to complete broadly defined assignments and achieve desired results. The position requires thorough knowledge of company products, and product applications on which intense training would be provided. The position is required to travel frequently to keep in touch with the customer base and generate regular business.
