Responsibilities

Quality & Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams, such as production, planning, and quality control, to ensure seamless supply chain processes.
• Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  

Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to all regulatory requirements related to importing goods, including customs and other trade compliance regulations.
• Ensure the smooth and timely flow of imported goods from supplier to destination.
  

Reports / MIS

• Demonstrate proficiency in office automation tools such as spreadsheets, graphs, and PowerBI.
• Utilize SAP for efficient supply chain management.
  

Delivery

• Work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time receipt of components and materials.
• Provide regular updates on orders and supply chain operations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Monitor delivery schedules to meet urgent customer requirements, managing any potential delays or issues.
  

Cost

• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
• Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and other service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective import operations.
• Optimize various aspects of supply chain management, including inventory management, demand forecasting, transportation, procurement, and supplier management.

• Exhibit strong communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement in the supply chain process.
• Show proactive approach and strategic thinking to contribute to overall improvements in supply chain operations.
• Ensure timely receipt of components to meet customer demands while optimizing freight costs and delivery efficiency.
  

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor of engineering Mechanical/Production/Industrial engineering
• 5-8yrs of relevant experience
• SAP knowledge
