Deputy Manager - Marketing - Institutional Sales

Purpose/Objective

This position is responsible for meticulously preparing and submitting competitive tender documentation, conducting financial and market analysis, and developing strategies to maximize the chances of winning contracts while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement, enabling to meet expectations of Adani ICM's organization and Adani Group.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Tender Incharge Tender Strategy, Planning & Pre-tender - Provide inputs to Head of Institutional Sales for finalizing annual sales planning for the zone - Monitor and stay informed about NIT (Notice Inviting Tender) and tender announcements - Develop a comprehensive strategy for tender participation, including identifying target opportunities - Lead the process of preparing and submitting tender bids in compliance with tender requirements and deadlines - Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Logistics, Sourcing, Legal) to gather necessary information for costing and pricing framework as per tender requirements and risk analysis - Coordinate with existing clients to obtain necessary certifications for work previously completed and ensure clients provide required documentation to support tender submissions Tender Documentation, Review and Analysis - Oversee the preparation and compilation of all necessary tender documentation by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including production, logistics, and legal teams - Oversee the completeness, accuracy, and timely submission of all required documents as per customer requirement and procedural requirement - Oversee the correctness and timely submission of documentation for online submissions - Lead the review and analysis of tender documents, encompassing terms, technical specifications, and evaluation criteria - Evaluate the feasibility and competitiveness of tender opportunities - Review reports and data to support tender decision-making and performance evaluation Tender Participation - Lead the engagement with external customers and government agencies during the tendering process - Ensure effective communication and negotiation with tendering authorities - Participate in contract negotiations with government agencies and PSUs to secure favorable terms and conditions - Work closely with legal and commercial teams to finalize contracts - Ensure that all tender submissions and activities comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards Digitisation and Automation - Lead and execute comprehensive digitization strategies to optimise operational efficiency - Innovate and implement automation solutions to support overall organisational goals/strategy People and Team Engagement - Lead, inspire and mentor the team to foster a high-performance culture - Drive and enhance employee engagement across the team to sustain a positive workplace culture - Foster a conducive environment for high employee retention by ensuring team satisfaction and professional development - Supervise and support team to achieve operational goals - Identify and develop successors Key Stakeholders Internal: - Head of Institutional Sales - Finance - Sourcing - Commercial - Logistics Key Stakeholders External: - Clients - Tenderers - Different Ports - Adani/Others - Railways
