Job Description

Role Summary


The Manager, HR Business Partnering - Sales HR, will play a pivotal role in supporting and driving the HR agenda within the Sales function especially the General Trade Function. This position requires an execution expert who can collaborate with key stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring the implementation of effective HR strategies and programs.


Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:


Sales HR Strategy:

  • Assist and help in implementing the Sales HR strategy in alignment with the CHRO.
  • Build strong relationships with Sales leadership to understand business objectives and challenges.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Be a part of the Talent Acquisition team to ensure effective recruitment strategies for the Sales positions.
  • Collaborate with Sales managers to identify talent gaps and develop plans for talent development and succession.

Performance Management:

  • Assist the COE in implementing performance management processes for the Sales function.

Employee Relations/Connect:

  • Handle employee relations matters, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances
  • Connecting with employees periodically to understand the pulse.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs within the Sales team and collaborate with the COE team to develop relevant programs.
  • Support career development initiatives for Sales employees.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and legal compliance within the Sales function.
  • Work with the Legal team to address any employment law matters.

Change Management:

  • Implement change management initiatives within the Sales function, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational changes.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize HR analytics to provide insights into Sales HR metrics and trends.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on key HR performance indicators.

Education Qualification Required

  • Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.


Key Skills and Attitude Required

  • Strong understanding of the FMCG industry and the specific challenges within Sales functions especially of the General Trade.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations and stakeholder management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ready for travel to regions


Experience

  • Must have overall 9-12 years of experience in HRBP or Generalist Role
  • Industry Preference: FMCG / FMCD / Pharmaceutical / Conglomerates
  • Excellent understanding of FMCG industry – Sales (GT division), Marketing and Functions at Manufacturing Unit.
