We are Deputy Manager HRBP for one of our client based out of Noida. Below is the JD.

Candidate should be flexible with Shift timings.

Job Title: Deputy Manager HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Noida

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Manager – HRBP

Job Summary:

The Deputy Manager – HRBP is a key strategic and operational partner to business leaders within the BPO environment. This role ensures the effective implementation of HR policies, talent strategies, and people initiatives that drive employee engagement, retention, and performance. The incumbent will work closely with operations to support a dynamic, high-volume workforce, ensuring HR practices align with the fast-paced and customer-centric nature of the BPO industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with Operations Leaders to understand business challenges and workforce needs.
  • Drive HR strategies aligned with business goals across multiple verticals/processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on people-related matters including structure, culture, and employee performance.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution while ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Implement employee engagement programs to improve retention and morale in a high-pressure environment.
  • Facilitate employee touchpoints such as one-on-ones, pulse surveys, and skip-level meetings.

Performance & Talent Management

  • Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems and performance improvement plans.
  • Guide managers on coaching, feedback, and employee development conversations.
  • Help identify high performers and support career pathing and succession planning.

Workforce Planning & Retention

  • Work with recruitment teams to forecast hiring needs based on business trends.
  • Analyze attrition and absenteeism trends and drive retention strategies for bottom-line impact.
  • Coordinate with training teams to ensure effective onboarding and upskilling.

HR Compliance & Policy Implementation

  • Ensure adherence to labor law compliance (e.g., Shops & Establishments Act, POSH, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and statutory reporting.
  • Communicate and reinforce HR policies consistently across all levels.

HR Data & Analytics

  • Monitor and report key HR metrics (attrition, engagement, performance, etc.).
  • Use data insights to recommend actionable improvements to business and HR leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
  • Experience:

    7–10 years of HR experience in a BPO or large-scale operations environment,
  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of BPO dynamics, shift-based operations, and employee lifecycle challenges.
    • Excellent interpersonal, conflict management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS tools.
    • Understanding of local labor laws and HR compliance.

Desirable:

  • Prior experience handling night shifts or 24x7 workforce environments.
  • Certification in labor law, POSH, or employee relations is a plus.
  • Experience supporting multiple BPO processes or sites
