Deputy General Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to lead our Purchase and Procurement operations for Radiology and Imaging products. The ideal candidate will be from the diagnostics/healthcare sector with deep knowledge of radiology equipment, consumables, and vendor management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end procurement activities for radiology equipment and consumables, including X-Ray films, CMC contracts, and imaging devices. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors to ensure best pricing and timely delivery. Maintain and update database of radiology equipment models, consumables, and their current market pricing. Develop strategies to optimize purchase costs while ensuring quality and compliance. Collaborate with the finance, operations, and technical teams for procurement planning and budgeting. Drive AMC/CMC contract negotiations and renewals in a cost-effective manner. Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to compliance guidelines. Monitor supplier performance and build long-term vendor relationships. Provide strategic input to top management on procurement planning, forecasting, and risk mitigation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Biomedical Engineering / Business Administration / Healthcare Management or relevant discipline. Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in purchase & procurement, preferably in the diagnostics or healthcare industry. In-depth knowledge of radiology equipment models, imaging consumables, and vendor ecosystem. Proven track record of cost savings and process optimization in procurement functions. Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
