Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Demi Chef de Partie - Bakery to join our team at JW Marriott. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in the culinary industry, preferably in hotels and restaurants.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the head chef in planning and preparing high-quality bakery dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop new recipes and menus to enhance the bakery's offerings.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Ensure all food products meet quality and presentation standards before service.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role in a bakery or pastry shop.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and adhere to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
