Role: Demand Planner - Team Lead
This role leads global procurement demand planning activities, ensuring accurate Buying/ planning of material and component requirements to support Revvity's supply chain operations. The position focuses on aligning procurement strategies with demand planning to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and ensure supply continuity across global operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain material requirements planning (MRP) based on demand forecasts

Coordinate with demand planners and production teams on material availability

Manage purchase order creation, expediting, and delivery schedules
-
Develop and maintain accurate demand planning using statistical models, market intelligence, and cross-functional input

Analyze historical sales data, seasonality patterns, and market dynamics to improve planning accuracy

Analyze supplier performance metrics (on-time delivery, quality, cost)

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions
-
Support new product introduction (NPI) planning and lifecycle management

Develop and maintain demand planning tools, dashboards, and reporting systems

Mentor New demand planning staff and drive process improvements
-
Monitor inventory levels and optimize safety stock parameters

Analyze inventory turnover rates, obsolescence, and demand patterns

Collaborate with Stakeholders, manufacturing, and sales teams on inventory planning
-
Develop and maintain inventory KPIs and reporting dashboards

Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and carrying costs

Lead cross-functional process improvement projects

Identify opportunities for operational efficiency gains & Design and implement standardized processes and best practices

Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials

Monitor process performance metrics and implement corrective actions

Coach teams on process improvement tools and methodologies

Drive continuous improvement in procurement planning accuracy and inventory optimization

Develop and implement KPIs to measure procurement planning effectiveness

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred

10+ years of experience in procurement planning or materials management, preferably in life sciences or diagnostics

Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes with focus on procurement and materials planning
-
Experience with machine learning/AI tools
-
Experience with MRP systems, ERP platforms (SAP, S/4 Hana, Oracle), and advanced planning tools
-
Strong analytical skills in Power BI with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

Experience with team handling, providing guidance and professional development
