Delivery Manager (18+ Years)

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with 18+ years of IT delivery experience to lead a large-scale Mainframe to Java modernization program for a well-established US financial services client. This role requires strong end-to-end delivery ownership, stakeholder management, and experience managing complex migration programs in the Banking / BFSI domain.

Experience Required

• 18+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years in Delivery / Program / Engagement Management
• Proven experience delivering large, multi-year transformation or modernization programs
• Strong background in Banking / Financial Services (BFSI) projects

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of a Mainframe to Java migration program
• Define and execute delivery strategy, migration roadmap, and release plans
• Manage multiple workstreams (Mainframe, Java, Data, NoSQL, QA, DevOps)
• Ensure delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and quality
• Drive risk management, dependency tracking, and issue resolution
• Establish and monitor delivery metrics, KPIs, and SLAs
• Lead client governance, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting
• Manage US-based client stakeholders and onsite–offshore coordination
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and audit requirements
• Lead and mentor large cross-functional teams

Technical & Domain Understanding (Must Have)

• Strong understanding of legacy system migration
• Understanding of data migration strategies involving RDBMS, and NoSQL
• Experience managing high-volume, mission-critical financial systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native delivery models

(Hands-on coding not required, but strong technical depth is mandatory)
