Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Data Modeling: Design and maintain complex Logical and Physical data models; implement normalization and denormalization strategies based on performance needs.
Schema Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers in PostgreSQL and Oracle DB.
Performance Tuning: Conduct query optimization, indexing strategies, and partitioning to ensure sub-second response times for the application.
Database Administration: Manage user access, backups, data security, and integrity constraints across development, UAT, and production environments.
Migration: Architect the migration path for data from the decommissioned system to the new environment without data loss or downtime.
Administration: Index management, partitioning strategies, and database security protocols.

Required Skills & Experience

Advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL and Oracle Database
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
Expertise in ERD tools (e.g., Erwin, MySQL Workbench, or LucidChart).
Solid understanding of ACID properties and CAP theorem. Preferred
