About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data transformation processes using Snowflake.
• Utilize SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub, to automate workflows.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processes and workflows.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Lead or participated in data migration projects, ensuring seamless data transfer and integration.
• Utilize Jira or similar agile systems to manage tasks and collaborate with teams.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Snowflake and data transformation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 to10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence.
• Familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms.
• Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems.
• Demonstrated experience in data migration projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
