Job Description

Creating and optimizing database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions within SQL Server to support data storage and retrieval needs. This includes data modeling for relational systems and ensuring efficient data organization.
Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other ETL tools to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into data warehouses or other target systems within the SQL Server ecosystem.
Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in SQL Server databases, queries, and ETL processes through indexing, query optimization, and server configuration adjustments.
Working closely with UI Developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, provide data access, and support their analytical and reporting needs.
Monitoring the health and performance of SQL Server instances and data pipelines, identifying and resolving issues related to data integrity, availability, and performance.
Automating routine tasks related to data management, pipeline execution, and monitoring using SQL Server Agent or other scripting tools.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks via Jira.
Use GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Maintain documentation and support knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in SQL Server or other DBMS Development.
Strong Experience in development of SSIS or other ETL tools and Automation Jobs.
Strong Experience in Data Modeling & Design of DB Objects.
Strong data analysis skills & problem solving skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Working closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, provide data access, and support their analytical and reporting needs.

Good to Have (not mandatory)

Experience or knowledge MongoDB.
Experience or knowledge Snowflake DB.
Exposure to AI Projects.
Exposure to DevOps tools and practices
