Data Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with 10+ years of expertise in SQL development and database architecture. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ETL processes, data modeling, and performance optimization, handling large-scale data transactions (5–10 million records). Proficiency in SSIS, data warehousing, and database tuning is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain

  ETL processes

  using

  SSIS

  .
• Design and implement

  enterprise-grade database architectures

  , ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Work with

  large datasets

  , managing transactions in the range of

  millions of records

  .
• Perform

  performance tuning, transaction management, deadlock handling, and query optimization

  .
• Develop and manage

  data warehouse solutions

  , ensuring data integrity and high performance.
• Create and optimize

  relational database models

  , focusing on

  Entity Relationship Modeling

  .
• Utilize

  SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL

  , and

  AWS-based data warehousing solutions

  .
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate

  data requirements into optimized schemas

  .
• Ensure

  best practices for coding standards, version control (Bitbucket/GIT), and code reviews

  .
• Work with

  analytics tools like AWS QuickSight

  for data reporting and visualization.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years

  of experience in

  SQL development

  and

  database architecture

  .

• 5+ years

  of experience handling

  large-scale data transactions (5-10 million records per transaction)

  .
• Expertise in

  ETL transformations using SSIS

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  performance tuning, triggers, stored procedures, and transaction management

  .
• Experience in

  data warehouse design and implementation

  .
• Proficiency in

  MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS-based data warehousing solutions

  .
• Experience in

  multi-client SaaS environments

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Bitbucket/GIT

  for version control.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the

  Utility domain

  .
• Certifications in

  Databases or Data Warehousing

  (Microsoft or equivalent).
