Job Role: Data Engineer - Customer Master Data Management

Experience: 5-8years

Job Location: 100% Remote

Job Type: Contract

Contract period: 6 months (May get extended)

Budget: Upto 1L per month

 

- Ensure customer master data is complete, cleansed, and formatted to company standards.

- Assist in the development and enforcement of global data entry best business practices.

- Maintain high degree of data integrity, quality, and consistency.

- Manage customer master record id assignments across systems.

- Ensure inbound data has been scrubbed and formatted to meet system import requirements.

- Act as a gatekeeper for customer master data so it meets company requirements across systems.

- Run account exception reporting to cleanse and update records to standards.

- Setup customer hierarchies, merge duplicate records, establish stewardship growth.

- Work on ad-hoc / special data projects.

- Identify weaknesses within processes and propose improvement recommendations.

- Serve as point of contact for stewardship stakeholder partners.

- Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Job requirements:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent data manipulation skills with detail-oriented focus.

- Uses systematic methodology in decision-making situations.

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

- Effective analysis, problem-solving, root cause, planning and documentation skills.

- Strong understanding of master data business processes.

- Ability to understand and navigate around database systems and internet sites.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently with minimal supervision.

- Adaptive to shifting work priorities to accommodate daily company needs.

- Decisive, assertive, and self-directed.

- Experience with software configurations and customizations.

- Be able to advocate for multiple points of view and impacts to multiple teams.

Required Skill set:

- B.A. or B.S. in Business or Computer Science, or related area.

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience - preferably in Sales Operations, Finance, or Customer Service.

- Required experience with managing accounts (customers and prospect data) in Salesforce CRM.

- Experience with report and dashboard building in Salesforce CRM.

- Experience with other CRM type systems such as SAP SD/FI, NetSuite, Boomi, etc.

- Experience with SQL, query and data load tools for analysis and updates.

- Familiar with Dun & Bradstreet applications (D&B Connect) or other 3rd party data enrichment tools.

- Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc) knowledge.
