About the Role

The Data Analyst will support data-driven decision-making through advanced data analysis, machine learning–based insights, and high-quality visualization & reporting. The role involves working closely with the Director/ApnaTech to generate actionable insights, evaluate AI/ML outputs, validate analytical models, and deliver dashboards and reports essential for product, operational, engineering, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• AI/ML-Based and Statistical Data Analysis
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, anomalies, and performance trends.
• Conduct feature engineering and data preprocessing for analytical and ML workflows.
• Evaluate AI/ML model outputs, metrics, and performance.
• Prepare structured analysis reports for model behaviour, accuracy, and improvement opportunities.
• Support experiments involving ML algorithms to extract insights relevant for product and engineering teams.
• Data Visualization & Reporting
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI / Tableau.
• Automate recurring reports and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytical outputs.
• Present clear insights, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership using data-driven storytelling.
• Prepare documentation, executive summaries, and visual narratives for product, R&D, and strategy teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of reports and analytics aligned with internal SLAs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Engineering with proven academic data science credentials.

Required Skills

• Strong programming knowledge in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in SQL and handling structured/unstructured datasets.
• Ability to build dashboards using Power BI / Tableau.
• Solid grounding in statistics and analytical modelling.
• Competence in evaluating AI/ML models and interpreting outputs.
• High analytical thinking and mathematical acumen.
• Attention to detail with strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience Required: 4-6 years in the core sector.
