Position Overview:
KMP Freight is hiring Customer Service Professionals at multiple levels - Trainee, Junior Executive, Executive, and Senior Executive for our international freight forwarding operations. We seek committed, career-focused female professionals who can handle multi-tasking in a dynamic environment and are serious about long-term employment.
Role & Responsibilities:
For Trainee/Junior Executive Levels:
- Handle customer inquiries for international shipment bookings via email and phone
- Process sea freight (FCL/LCL) and air freight bookings in logistics systems
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading)
- Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, and airlines for booking confirmations
- Track shipments and provide timely status updates to customers
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in company systems
- Support senior team members with documentation and operational tasks
- Learn freight forwarding procedures, customs regulations, and international logistics
For Executive/Senior Executive Levels:
- Independently manage key customer accounts for sea and air freight operations
- Handle complex multi-modal shipments and specialized cargo bookings
- Prepare comprehensive export-import documentation and ensure compliance
- Coordinate customs clearance, delivery schedules, and final mile logistics
- Provide freight rate quotations and pricing support to customers
- Handle customer escalations and resolve operational issues professionally
- Train and mentor junior team members in freight operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas partners and agents
- Support commercial team with rate negotiations and customer proposals
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

Preferred Candidate Profile:
For Trainee Level (3 to 6 months experience):
- Candidates with 3 months to 1 year freight forwarding experience Basic knowledge of sea freight (FCL/LCL) or air freight operations required Currently working as trainee/junior in other freight companies are ideal
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) - MANDATORY
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, email)
- Eager to learn international logistics and build long-term career
For Junior Executive Level (1-2 years experience):
- 1-2 years experience in customer service, operations, or logistics
- Good understanding of customer coordination and service principles
- Freight forwarding experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Proficient in Excel and email communication systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under deadlines
For Executive Level (3-4 years experience):
- 2-4 years experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related operations
- Strong knowledge of sea freight and/or air freight operations preferred
- Experience in handling customer accounts independently
- Understanding of customs procedures, INCOTERMS, and shipping documentation
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with logistics management systems
For Senior Executive Level (5-6 years experience):
- 4-7 years experience in freight forwarding customer service or operations
- Expert knowledge of international logistics, sea/air freight operations
- Proven track record of managing high-value customer accounts
- Experience in team coordination or informal leadership roles
- Strong commercial awareness and pricing knowledge
- Ability to handle complex operational challenges and customer escalations
