Job Description

Role Responsibilities Design and implement robust critical infrastructure strategies. Monitor and maintain critical systems to ensure operational efficiency. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance network security measures. Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects. Develop and review technical documentation for system processes. Conduct risk assessments on current infrastructure and recommend improvements. Facilitate disaster recovery planning and testing for infrastructure components. Mentor and support junior engineers in best practices. Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for critical systems. Engage with stakeholders to define infrastructure needs and objectives. Implement best practices in server configuration and maintenance. Prepare status reports on infrastructure projects for executive leadership. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years in monitoring critical infrastructure systems, particularly in power and HVAC. Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security measures. Responsible for continuously monitoring the health, performance, and availability of critical infrastructure systems (including power and HVAC systems) in real-time. Monitor power distribution systems (e.g., UPS, generators, electrical panels) for uptime, performance, and load. Track power usage, efficiency, and detect anomalies (e.g., voltage fluctuations, overloads). Monitor HVAC systems to ensure optimal temperature and humidity levels are maintained for equipment safety. Track performance of cooling units, CRACs, air handlers, and chilled water systems. Set up real-time alerting for system failures, thresholds exceeded, or performance degradation in power or HVAC systems. Maintain logs of system performance, incidents, and interventions. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on power and HVAC system status to management. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (ISO, NIST, etc.). Capacity for overseeing risk management processes. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Willingness to stay current with industry advancements. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
