Job Summary

Credit Bureau Reporting Analyst


Key Responsibilities

Data Management

  • Collect, validate, and maintain accurate consumer credit data in line with internal policies and credit bureau requirements.
  • Ensure high data quality and integrity across reporting systems.

Credit Reporting

  • Prepare and submit periodic consumer credit reports to major credit bureaus (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax).
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and reporting timelines.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay current with applicable credit reporting laws and regulations, including FCRA.
  • Ensure reporting practices remain compliant with regulatory and bureau guidelines.

Data Analysis

  • Analyze credit data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through reporting insights.

Issue & Dispute Resolution

  • Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies and errors.
  • Manage and respond to consumer disputes via the

    e-OSCAR

    platform within regulatory timelines.

Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams such as IT, Risk Management, and Customer Support to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support system and process enhancements for credit reporting.

Documentation

  • Maintain detailed documentation related to reporting processes, methodologies, audit trails, and compliance controls.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

    .
  • Proven experience in

    U.S. credit bureau reporting

    , data analysis, or financial services.
  • Hands-on experience managing

    e-OSCAR disputes

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    credit bureau reporting standards

    and regulatory requirements (FCRA).
  • Proficiency in

    data tools

    such as SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in

    U.S. consumer lending or credit risk management

  • Familiarity with

    U.S. credit reporting systems and platforms
