🎨 Role Overview:

Creative Directors

strategy + writing + production + leadership


This role combines:

  • Day-to-day strategy
  • End-to-end content authorship (from idea to publish-ready)
  • Creative production direction
  • Client communication and approvals
  • Performance insight and channel growth alignment


🎯 Core Responsibilities:

1. Creative Strategy & Channel Ownership

  • Translate brand and business strategy into clear creative plans for your assigned channels.
  • Build ideas, hooks, formats, and themes that are aligned with audience needs and performance goals.
  • Maintain voice, tone, and narrative consistency across all content.
  • Partner with the Lead CD on directional decisions and long-term creative vision.


2. Ideation, Writing & Creative Development

  • Lead concept development and produce high-quality scripts, hooks, captions, and campaign copy.
  • Ensure all writing is structured, platform-ready, and optimized for production.
  • Maintain creative documentation and voice guidelines.
  • Support junior creatives while retaining ownership of final output.


3. Production Direction

  • Create clear briefs for design, edit, and production teams.
  • Provide structured feedback on drafts and ensure alignment with the core creative idea.
  • Oversee shoots and editing workflows when needed.
  • Approve final edits, thumbnails, and packaged content.


4. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the day-to-day creative POC for the client.
  • Run review calls and communicate creative decisions with clarity and confidence.
  • Convert client feedback into actionable direction without compromising creative intent.
  • Collaborate closely with Success Managers, designers, and ACDs to ensure smooth delivery.


5. Creative Performance & Insights

  • Review content performance and identify key creative learnings.
  • Recommend creative pivots based on insights, platform trends, and past results.
  • Produce monthly creative learning notes and integrate them into future planning.
  • Stay updated on emerging formats and platform changes.
