Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including materials, labor, overhead, and subcontractor expenses.
• Collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to gather data for cost analysis.
• Conduct market research to assess material costs, labor rates, and industry trends.
• Prepare cost proposals and reports for management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle, identifying potential cost overruns and suggesting corrective actions.
• Maintain cost estimation databases and update pricing models regularly.
• Participate in supplier/vendor negotiations to obtain competitive pricing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cost Estimator, preferably in the furniture manufacturing or related industry.
• Strong understanding of furniture materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques.
• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Soliworks, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of cost control practices and budgeting processes.
